The light pictures that I did last semester were some of my favorite pictures. This picture of the hands puts out so much emotion and feel. When I look at this picture i feel a sense of somebody crying out for help. I sent this picture into a couple competitions.

motion photography

This picture is an example of light photgraphy. To create a light picture you use the manual bulb setting on your camera, with this setting you can keep the exposer open as long as you want. With the long exposer you can draw figures or shapes with a light source, such are flash lights or laser beams. The outcome of the picture with be what you drew with your light source.

pinhole

    In pinhole photography there is no viewfinder that you can look through. So you never really know what the picture is until you develope it. Pinhole photography is a simplistic form of taking pictures, it only requires a small hole and an air tight container.Pinhole picture are normally very unusual. If there is water in your picture it turns out kind of erie and calm. With pinhole photography you can get a wider prospective and a longer depth of field. Everytime you take a pinhole picture it is a great new experience, and no pinhole picture ever looks the same.

high key

This is craig and this picture is a high key. High key photography is lighter than low key and shows less value range.

low key

This is a low key photograph shows more shadows and a greater value range.
